We are delighted to announce that the 2025 Annual Meeting of the British Liquid Crystal Society (BLCS) will take place in Edgbaston Park Hotel & Conference Centre at the University of Birmingham. The meeting will take place 8-10 April 2025.

As always, the BLCS Annual Meeting welcomes researchers from all career stages across all areas of liquid crystals research, but is traditionally aimed at providing a platform especially for early career researchers – PhD students as well as postdoctoral researchers – so that they can present their work to an expert audience.

Alongside this years Annual Meeting, a Workshop will be held from the noon of Monday 7th April to the noon of Tuesday 8th April 2025 to provide education and training for the next generation of researchers in the highly interdisciplinary field of liquid crystals research by experts of the field.
