Membership

The BLCS welcomes students, academics, and industrial researchers working on any aspect of liquid crystal science and technology to become members of the Society.

Delegates of any BLCS supported event or meeting automatically receive an invitation for Society membership for a period of three years. Alternatively you can sign up for news items only on our emailing list or opt out completely from BLCS related communications.

Student Membership:

Membership of the BLCS is free of charge to all students in full-time or part-time education. To apply for membership please enter your details here.

Full Membership:

Full Membership of the BLCS requires you to have attended a BLCS supported event such as workshop, conference, meeting, dissemination event or similar, within the last three years. Attending one event automatically entitles the attendee to three year membership from the date of the event.

You can also sign up to the BLCS mailing list as a non-member by entering your details here.
